The Museum shows free films at 12:00 p.m. (doors open at 11:30 a.m.) on selected Fridays at the Winter Park Community Center, 721 West New England Avenue. Those attending are invited to bring a lunch. The Museum provides articles and refreshments. Book selections that expand on the film series are available at the Winter Park Library.
Winter Series: Muses of Movement
Iconic dancers and entertainers Loïe Fuller (1862‒1928) and Josephine Baker (1906‒75) reflected and influenced the time in which they performed. Fuller, an icon of Art Nouveau, is the subject of Obsessed with Light. Baker, an unlikely spy during WWII, is the subject of Secrets of History: Josephine Baker.
