Opened in 1963 by Michael and Mary Pinter, Club Juana was popular with Casselberry locals and hosted top musical acts like Fats Domino and Jerry Lee Lewis. When attendance waned after the closure of the nearby Navy base, the Pinters rebranded as an adult entertainment club. Though the move drew new crowds, the owners could not keep the doors open when the city announced plans for a highway overpass near the club’s location. After Club Juana closed on June 17, 2006, the Morse Museum acquired and restored its iconic neon sign.
