For Educators

The Morse Museum is engaged in the ongoing study, conservation, and exhibition of the more than 4,000 objects that make up its collection. It regularly sponsors special exhibitions from the permanent collection as well as lectures and other educational programs related to the collection and its historical period.


Image Library

The Museum makes a variety of slides and digital images available for educational use. The slides are loaned out for 30 days and are accompanied by checklists that give detailed information about each image. Choose from the following:

  • Overview of the career of American artist Louis Comfort Tiffany (12 slides).
  • Overview of American art pottery at the Morse (15 slides).
  • Overview of Tiffany lamps and lighting at the Morse (15 slides).

DVD and Video Library

The Museum has DVDs and videos specifically focused on the Morse Museum and its collection available for loan, as well as numerous videos on many different individual artists and movements. For a complete listing of titles, please call the Education Department at (407) 645-5311, ext. 117.

Museum Shop

The Morse Museum Shop offers a variety of resources that may be purchased for use in the classroom, including a wide selection of books on art, art history, and art instruction; art supplies and kits; and posters, prints, and postcards.
